Completion
This mixed-use development at Hoe Street replaces outdated buildings with a contemporary scheme that respects the surrounding urban character.
This mixed-use development replaces a late-Victorian terrace and an adjoining post-war supermarket building. The site sits on a prominent corner plot within the Walthamstow Town Centre Action Plan Area The building stands at the intersection of three streets. It complements the recently redeveloped 1 Hoe Street while respecting the scale of the Victorian terraces behind. The design steps down in height towards neighbouring homes, while the set-back third floor, expressed as a zinc-clad mansard, reduces its visual impact on the street.
